Minerva University makes each location you live in an extension of your learning environment. Learning includes in-person experiences, pushing you to apply your knowledge to real-world scenarios in culturally diverse settings. At Minerva University, you'll focus on sharpening your knowledge and understanding of five Integrated Learning Outcomes (ILOs) that put you on a path to success and lifelong growth.
All Minerva University courses require students to complete integral portions of the coursework based on Location Based Assignments (LBA). These assignments must be completed in person on location and are a required and substantial portion of students’ work.

Learning in Context
The global experience at Minerva University include five categories of site-specific learning.
Minerva University Labs
To expand the global reach of hands-on learning, Minerva University offers a series of student-focused labs in locations around the globe to provide immersive research and project opportunities available to students in the summer and during the school year.
Hosted Events
Blend your studies and personal interests by attending regular activities with local individuals and organizations. Through an ongoing series of discussions and presentations you gain exposure to new people, places, and perspectives.
City Experiences
Each location you visit allows you opportunities to delve into significant local topics. Participating in curated city experiences expands your understanding of the city and culture you are living in.
Activities & Assignments
Extend your understanding of the concepts and skills you learn in class into the real world. Bringing your lessons to life, assignments are connected to city-based activities and work sessions that blend course concepts and local topics.
Community-based Projects
Make a positive impact on society by practicing skills and applying concepts you learn in class through projects with local partners. You will work with partners in each city on impact projects that connect your formal studies to real problems organizations face.
Exposure
Meet new people, discover new places, and get a whole new perspective on your studies and your future in every city you visit.

In addition to the above, you can take part in formal programming on topics that range from exercise and nutrition to the prevention of sexual assault that equip you with techniques for maintaining a healthy lifestyle and keeping yourself safe.
Nearby clinics, medical facilities, and mental health professionals are readily available to you, as needed. Every residence hall incorporates appropriate security measures.
